Mundford U15 entertained The Woottons team and came out on the wrong end of a 2-0 scoreline in a game that was frustrating for Mundford as nothing seemed to go right for them. Woottons brought the game to Mundford from the start and poured wave upon wave of attacks down, Mundford dealt with most of these attacks but the pressure eventually told as a ball wasnt cleared properly and quickly ended in the back of the net. Mundford held it to 0-1 til half time and hoped they could bring some pressure in the second half with the wind behind them but it became clear as the game progressed that this was not to be as Woottons dealt with any forward thinking Mundford could offer and scored another after Mundford again failed to clear their lines. After this first loss in the league, Mundford need to clear their heads, get back to doing the basics right and stop criticising each other to give themselves a realistic chance of going for the title.
