Mundford stood still in the starting blocks as Wootons took control with the bit firmly between their teeth and scored after only 7 minutes of play.
Mundfords S Borrer  put the ball in the back of the net from a distance, only to be ruled offside. Wootons remaining the stronger side, got their second goal before half time.
With a firm word at half time, Mundford stepped up their game and put Wootons on the back foot for a period. Eventually both teams played each other out of the game and consequently not many chances for either arose. Then late on in the game a communication error between Mundfords defence allowed Wootons to get their third of the match.
