Mundford played at home against Woottons. Mundford started strong from the back four through to the front men. New additions Hewitt and Stangroome pushed through Woottons defence but couldn’t find the net. Woottons responded to this like a wake up call and quickly took control of the game with a ferocious hunger for the ball, finishing their efforts with a fine header which was twinned with another header shortly after the first.
Half time score was 2-0 in favour of Woottons.
Second half saw a fast pace from both sides. Mundford's Bondy was brought down in the box and Stangroome charmingly converted the penalty chance into Mundford's only goal of the match.
Woottons with strength on their side produced another goal to make it their third.
