Mundford u15 travelled to West Winch and were involved in a fair but physical contest from the most improved team of the season and cup finalists.
The game was an important affair for Mundford at it was a must win in their quest to be crowned champions this season. To be fair Mundford had 70% of the play for the whole game but found converting this possession into a goal a nervous affair. Eventually, they found the goal they yearned with 15 mins to go and then stuck it out to take them 3 points closer to a first league title, Jack Hamilton coming up with that all important goal just when all hope looked to be fading! Great games had by Sammy Bond, Shaun Massingham, Nev Wright and Aaron Burt. Can Mundford find the desired skill and commitment required to take it one step closer, they will find out in 2 weeks when they travel to team of the moment Shouldham for the all important clash before meeting Reffley twice.
