First round of county cup

Mundford started into the game very quickly and it wasn’t long before A Burt rose like a salmon to header the ball home from a truly magical Jordan free kick.
Ten minutes later Wright netted a half volley following some great teamwork from Foster and Stangroome

The second half started with determination from both sides, Mundford's Borrer, Hamilton, Bond, Massingham and Fulcher played with class to hold the opposition of the ball, paying off with a trademark 20 yard goal from Foster.
Sadly the work rate took its toll as Shrublands consistency gave them two goals back.
Shrublands remained strong and looked dangerous at times but was dealt with efficiently by Mundford's tackle technicians Massingham and Burt.
