Leverington came to Mundford and started as the stronger team. Mundford pushed forward with a few shots, one from Stangroome which rattled the crossbar. Mundford’s defence had their work cut out as Leverington was quick to take the opportunity with a counter attack which was allowed to run through because of some miss-timed tackles from Mundford, resulting in a goal for Leverington.

Second half saw some heated tempers from both sides but it wasn't long before a cool Mr Stangroome found himself some space and equalized.
Leverington came back hard, stretching Mundford’s defence and got another goal due to that hard work. Mundford’s Thomas and Burt linked beautifully to allow Borrer to individually battle into position and equalise for Mundford.
