Mundford v Shouldham in the 3rd round of the county cup.

Mundford were on fire and it was one way traffic from the word go. Mundford moved the ball around the park with all the finesse of a top class team. The first goal came from D Foster who cut inside and netted the ball from outside the box, A Burt found himself in a prime position to bundle in his first then shortly after made a sweet spin in front of goal to get his second. Play was efficient from a well disciplined Mundford side that allowed J Hamilton to twist and turn through Shouldham’s defence to find the target once again. Confidence flowed through Mundford like a river as O Fulcher produced a thunderbolt of a goal just before half time.

Second half quickly produced a couple of Christmas crackers for C Skipton and B Stangroome due to their hard work rate.
Super work from midfielder's O Fulcher and S Borrer was mirrored by the steadfastness at the back by S Massingham but well done to the whole team as they never put a foot wrong.
Spectators were overjoyed at the standard of football they had turned out to watch, little wonder that their numbers are growing.
