Shouldham came to Mundford to play the semi final in the mid Norfolk sub cup. two minutes into the game saw Mundford with a penalty which Stangroome took and put away into the corner. Mundford were not at their best by no means and Shouldham equalised on the stroke of half time.
With the weather turning bad, the second half started spritely, with Shouldham trying to penetrate the goal on no less than four occasions but were saved by Mr Barlow. Shouldham then went down to ten men due to injury, which allowed Mundford more space and freedom. Mundford was disallowed a goal from bond (offside), then Shouldham’s luck was non existent as another injury saw them reduced to nine men on the pitch, consequently Mundford picked their goals at will, scorers were, J. Hamilton, B. Stangroome and Ollie Fulcher. Wasn't a good game for the supporters but Mundford’s manager would like to mention the lads that glued Mundford together as, B. Stangroome, J. Thomas, A. Burt and S. Massingham.
Final score 5-1 to Mundford
